Originally I went to a large chain of builder store but it was closed! I ended up at The Hide as I remembered my Grandad used this small independent shop. I'm glad to say I ended up here, as it was the perfect place to get EVERYTHING I needed! The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, I was happy with each and every product I brought. Great quality and a personal touch of community friendliness while in there.(even when I managed to knock items from there shelves carrying my conduit through the shop) I would recommend The Hide to everyone regardless of any big chain of merchants being open. 5*****

A proper and truly excellent DIY shop. Fantastic range, great service and good prices with free easy parking too! Couldn't ask for more!

This is how a shop should be. It's run by people who not only care about what they do and the people who shop there, but also know their stuff. Nothing on sale here is second rate and no enquiry is too much to deal with.

Great shop with mist things you need . A proper hardware store where the staff actually know what they are talking about ! They even do key cutting and paint mixing !!
