Very handy hardware store which I quite often pop into when passing through Smallfield. Great to have the off street parking in front of the shop. Owner always very cheerful and helpful, even in these depressing times. Glad she is able to stay open for those of us that need it.
I've been into the shop a few times now and always had a good experience. Always been helpful when I needed to find best right fixings for a specific job, quite a lot of items packed into the store. Really glad to have a local hardware store rather than the overpriced superstore options. Eg when Buying a few large bolts for pence rather than several pounds elsewhere!
Handy shop in good location. A good size for a hardware store. Stock most things you need and will order things if they don't have. The downside to it is the price. Let's put it this way. If you have bottomless pockets then shop there. Otherwise, my advice is to go to b and q and save some money
This store which is located in the next village to me is a real Aladins cave. They have a wide selection of supplies. Customer service good and as well as larger purchases, they also have a good stock of small individual screws, nuts, bolts and electrical items etc. Staff knowledgeable and always share additional information and tips when sellings products. It's the first place I head before the larger stores.
I can only say that I have not come across such an abrupt, rude and unhelpful individual in a shop, in recent history. This is a great example of why amazon is flying these days. I also spoke to a few other locals who shared their tales of woe.
Have always found the lady in the shop very helpful, I don't always know what it is I need but she always points me in the right direction. If I get home and the product isn't right she gives me a refund or says I can swap the item. Very friendly lady and lovely shop. Just what we need in smallfield!

Support your local store in Smallfield. Helpful service and you can usually find what you want from lightbulbs to paint brushes to batteries and kitchenware. Handy for last minute DIY/kitchen presents.
Really convenient and well-stocked local shop. You can find everything you need there and they'll go out of their way to help.
The Lady owner is very knowledgeable and helpful and the store has a wonderful selection of hardware
