We are a family friendly steak house and specialists in the finest steaks including the famous 78oz Goliath. We make our handmade burgers & desserts with only the finest ingredients.

Delicious Sunday lunch. High quality meat. Good selection of fresh perfectly cooked veg. Attentive, friendly service. Can highly recommend. Specialises in steamed which we have been recommended as being especially good. We will be back to try for ourselves.

Travelled from Hull tonight to this steakhouse recommended by a friend only to be told they had stopped selling food at 8.30pm yet the two ladies infront of us at the bar had just ordered steaks . I told the woman working behind the bar we had travelled from Hull and I stated there was no reference to the kitchen being closed at 8.30pm it states food served til late . She also stated you have to book in advance , this was also not stated on the web site. Apaulled by the fact we waited behind a couple who was ordering food ,no eye contact whatsoever and no apologies , there was only 2 of us and only wanted a standard steak nothing special . I could understand if we were a large party to walk in off the cuff to order food . Service a total and utter joke .

Visited The Haymaker in Bonby (in passing). As always the hosts were friendly and inviting. I dont eat meat and unfortunately in many restaurants that causes problems as the choices available are usually poor, but not at The Haymaker, we had lovely meals, all home cooked using fresh products. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely food and great, cosy atmosphere. It was nice to have time to enjoy a talk and drink in the reception area prior to being presented to our table.

Absolutely delicious steak and fairly reasonably priced. Place was a little chilly but this didn't stop us from having a lovely evening.
