Headed here Bank Holiday Monday on our canal holiday. Staff were very accommodating to the 9 of us. One meal was wrong and the management refunded straight away which was unexpected. Nice small traditional pub with a treasure of a garden! X
Really friendly staff, lovely building. Locals welcoming, first time me and my girlfriend have been out together, was a good time. Thank you, will come again.
Had takeaway pizzas, absolutely delicious!! And such a great price. Staff were very friendly. Will come again! Parking: Loads of room outside
Cyclists friendly pub, we often stop there for a break and a famous bacon/sausage roll vegetarian options are availableFood: 5/5
The food was nice but nothing special. The fish my wife had was obviously a birds eye type ready battered frozen one. This was very dry.The seating area needs attention. A double fridge was on the dining room floor. Inside window sill covered in something resembling mice droppings. Damp patches on the walls. The staff were very welcoming. Surprised there was only our party in the restuarant at 7pm on a Sunday. No one else came in whilst we were there. Overall it was grubby but friendly. I wouldn't go there again unless it had a complete makeover.
An excellent pub with a large outdoor seating area, good selection of drinks. Good includes a wide variety of pizzas with gluten free options available.
Lovely friendly atmosphere, I call once a week for a quick drink, food always looks lovely and staff are always up for a chat. Always a selection of ales on tap.
Brilliant pub. Great food, great drinks. Incredibly helpful, gave us directions to a bike shop with advise on routes and accommodated a large group for food food was great.
Last time I had a pint here we were all in masks, it's so to feel were getting back to normality. Lovely place with a garden area out the back with plenty of seating. The bar staff were very nice and chatty. They also do pizza which is a bonus
Amazing burgers today! The burger itself was moist and tender, and the bacon was the tastiest I have had in a long time. Fun to be able to choose all the 5 components, and all 3 of us enjoyed it. Service as friendly as ever, handy bike racks just increase the ease and convenience of popping in. The pizzas are great too, and there's always a good selection of proper beers and ciders.
