A “harrowing” experience!!! They advertise home cooked Indian cuisine at a British pub . Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed but the pub, the beer and the vibe was great. Genuine Guinness, I might add. Really good service too.
Loaded wrap; gorgeous textures lightly grilled, fresh wrap, sweet dressing, tender and generous portion of chicken- next time I’ll ask for spice as it was sweet a nice treat but would love a little more spice but the room clearly love the food so they’ve nailed the audience! professional team, clear lots of signs - no dogs YES! Finally!!! probably not for the family - but for time just for me - 100%.
Omg what a cute, sweet little pub. Beautiful garden out the front and even more garden around the back. This little cosy, pretty pub is family run, the staff were really nice and friendly. Stopped off here for a lovely glass of bubbles, sitting outside the pub makes you feel you are somewhere else like The Cotswells, its lovely thatch roof and a plant feature as you enter the pub garden.
Went for the first time, for a family early evening meal with 2 children 8&11. We all chose curry as that's what had been recommended to us by friends. The pilau rice was so yummy, I could have just eaten double and been satisfied. We all left with happy bellies!
Me and my partner visited this place on the 8/10/22 I have tasted many Indian dishes over the years from different restaurants and areas, this was by far the best one yet ! We ordered the sizzling chicken tikka which as a starter was more than enough for us both as a main and the lamb bhuna, the aromas you smelt off the food before even tasting was to die for you can tell the food is cooked with patience, love and experience highly recommend popping in and giving a try ! big thankyou to priya for the service she was excellent friendly and attentive.
Lovely little thatched pub, great food, friendly owner
Visited whilst staying at an Airbnb few doors down. Popped in and booked a table for the same day and Priya was very accommodating with booking us in that evening. Menu was small but perfect, and it made sense when we tasted the food. My misses ordered the sizzling tikka as a main it’s a large starter and I ordered the lamb bhuna. Both dishes where amazing and the flavours where immense. The sides where just as good and it made everything have the feeling of being made with love. All in all 10/10 experience.
The food is excellent, I can recommend the butter chicken! Other dishes are great too though. Will surely be back.
We live in Australia and came in whilst visiting family, it was the best curry I've had in both uk and Australia. The chicken tikka sizzler was to die for. Friendly staff and beautiful surroundings
