The food was so good here. We had the carvery and it was excellent, we also ordered a meal off the menu which turned up quickly and had great reviews. The drinks were excellent and the staff helped us when we asked for it to be made slightly differently. The goat was quiet when we visited at lunchtime so there were loads of room and you got to pick your own table and order at the bar. A few things were not available but what they did have was excellent. The parking is free if going into the goat just don't forget to put your registration number in.
What a lovely place to have a meal ! The car very staff were friendly , carvery was delicious, hot and fresh and the best bit about it is you don’t wait around for it as it’s a carvery. They also served my favourite New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and I finished the meal with a lovely cherry sponge and custard . All that for under £20! Will definitely be going back again…. and again !
Absolutely unbelievable afternoon tea experience everything perfect great friendly staff nothing too much trouble will definitely be using you guys again thank you so much
Lovely quiet place for a family meal and quiet drink. Carvery is really nice and a very food price. They also do pizza and other food. Staff are really friendly
The food was all served quickly and was hot! Everything was good! The staff were all happy and friendly! We ordered at the bar and the staff were quick to acknowledge you and were happy and chatty when serving. Paige was our waitress and was super attentive, happy and she made my daughters birthday extra special by putting candles in her desert for us! Thank you! We'll definitely be back!
We have been to this pub and carvery several times in in past year, since moving to Shepperton, and have always been impressed with the service and especially the prices of the food. I arranged a surprise birthday party for my daughter here and was not disappointed. Management and staff were fabulous, couldn't do enough for us, party and venue were great success, and buffet was amazing. Everyone commented on the lovely food. Thanks to all concerned. We will be back again.
We made a last minute family group booking for Saturday evening 12 people, which they were happy to accomodate on a large table setting. Most of our group had a carvery, with a couple choosing from the set menu. With the carvery there was a choice of 3 meats and the vegetables were fresh, quickly being refreshed when they run out. The set meals were also well received. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the evening.
Dan our waiter was very nice and helpful. Like the allergy chart with my allergy problems. Service was all good. Just missing out on some foods I would have liked but not their fault. Very nice lunch and value for money. Thanks.
Really yummy lunch! I've been looking forward to carvery dinner I knew I was coming to London. Unfortunately, lack of transportation and having to rely on public transport has limited my options for time and place. Glad to have found it's not busy at lunchtime on Mondays. Might be my bi-monthly trip now.
Me and my girlfriend decide to go here for a Sunday roast. We were shown to our tables but wasn't told how to order so we had to ask. The decor in the place looked like it hadn't been updated in years. Furniture was very very worn. Food was very decent though..
