Visited for lunch with parents, the staff were incredibly kind and the food was incredible. The chips were genuinely amazing, I would come back for them alone. The beef cheese and bacon burger was delicious, the gammon was perfect and the hunters chicken was the perfect amount of smoky and flavoursome. Will definitely be back in the future!
Took my wife and daughter for lunch. Atmosphere was lovely, music the right volume and cheerful staff. Between us we had, bacon/cheese beefburger, hunters chicken & gammon egg and chips. The food was promptly served and delicious. The chips were sublime, and the bbq sauce not overpowering as they can often be. Highly recommend

A friend and I were travelling and we stopped off here for a coffee and a cup of tea. We found the service, welcoming, approachable, and warm and. Based on the time of day we went in there there were four guys sitting there drinking with one of them having a bit of an attitude which was one of the reasons I left sooner and impacted the environment.nI'm sure this was just an unusual experience and will definitely come back for a meal when I return this way.
Food amazing ! service was really poor. We should have known to leave when it was empty on a Saturday, midday with really nice sunny weather! Left feeling a bit disappointed /regretting going therennCustomer tips:nDon’t bother booking a table , they are all freenBring a book to read while you are waiting to get servednThere’s a KFC a few minutes drive awaynnManagement tips:nClean your tables, so many tables had food,ndrinks ect from the last visitsnHire more staff so one body isn’t tending the bar, cleaning, taking table orders, receptionist greeting at the door, serving food and god knows what else!nUpdate your menu so everytime we ask for something we don’t have to be told you don’t do that anymore or have ran out/discontinued thingsnUse the empty black boards to actually advertise on , people do actually look at themnCut the grass, it’s overgrown and looks unkept
