I find all the staff at Hackney vets very helpful from the receptionists to the nurses to the vets. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. I always feel that I am listened to and that my 4 cats receive the greatest of care when in the practice. I never worry about them when I have to leave them as I know they are in the best of hands. Like a doctor for me, it is very important to have a vets that you can trust and I trust them all. Highly recommend this practice to anyone.
Took our two kittens for their first vet visit. The reception staff was really helpful, and the lady who carried out their checks was lovely. Overall stress free experience, reasonable pricing, aftercare. So happy to have them here on our doorstep!

The hackney vet is a great place for my dog Freddie. The vets and staff show great care and warmth toward him, and they have been 100% reliable for standard care and in a few unexpected / emergency situations. I’m very glad knowing that I’ve always been able to be seen quickly on the day for critical care and they have always been available and responsive to any questions or issues.
Took my 7 year old cat for her yearly vaccination and WOW! AMAZING! Can’t believe I endured years at Goddards. The difference at the Hackney Vet is vast- my calls are always answered after a few rings or a very short wait, appointments available, super friendly receptionists, chatty vet and absolutely no waiting around! Thank you so much!
After having an upsetting spay experience for one of my cats at a different independent vet, I decided to switch over to The Hackney Vet and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. They’ve always been lovely, accommodating, proactive and effective. Really grateful to have this wonderful practice nearby.
Had a shocking experience at another vets, and after my first visit here with my sick pet it was a weight off my shoulders! They gave me possible diagnosis, treatment paths, cost breakdowns, they were empathetic. Very confident I made the right move.
Hackney vets have looked after my dogs for 9 years, they are super professional and always have been there when I need them with great love and care for my dogs. Steve is a great vet and really gives great advice and vet care for my fur babies.

Cannot praise the place high enough! They took care of my elderly dog really well. Fast appointments, super friendly staff, very responsive and thorough! The op my dog had went really well, with 2 follow ups. Steve was priceless even to the point where my dog was actually happy to see him after the op - of course liver treats played a small role. The best thing about this place is that they have plenty of very qualified staff. It's like a big family. Hoping not to be back but if I do, this is a good place to come back to!
