Good tasty food, happy staff to greet you and a barista that can make better than alright coffee - yayy, at least now i've found a decent cafe hangout and with plenty of gluten free choices. We had 3 chicken sandwiches on gluten free bread that were tasty as. Actually the gluten free bread was so tasty i bought 2 gluten free loaves home with me. Totally relaxing place with with Dartington Hall across the road to discover after you've smashed your daily kilojoule allowance with cake snd coffee. There's paid parking behind the cafe as you never know where those meter maids are lurking. Get your whole family here for a big day out!
We popped by when we were recommended by a local. Though they don’t have a big breakfast menu, the brekkie sandwiches are really great!
Popped in whilst walking for a hot drink and cake. Good choice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly.
Large cafe with seating inside and out. Good food choices including for vegetarians, vegans and dairy free. Child friendly. Toilets inside. Nearby parking with plenty of space. Payment by app. The cafe is situated on the Dartington Hall Trust estate.Parking spacePlenty of parkingParking optionsPaid parking lot
Order a very long time arriving. Coffee was very small and cold. Much of the menu not available and the salad was turning brown. Extremely expensive for what you get. Survival of the cafe must be down to location and no immediate competition. We will not be a returning customer. Shame as there is so much potential with a little more care in running the place.
I have been coming to Dartington for 40yrs, and I had no idea that this cafe existed!! I still cannot believe it. The menu choice is very good and the salads on view looked delicious. There were two soups on offer and we chose the pork and black bean chilli soup with rye bread. And absolutely delicious it was too. The service was excellent, so many staff around. It's quite a big place yet we got the last spare table so obviously it's well known. There is a huge veranda at the front with views if it is a lovely day.
Nice little place for a quick cuppa and a cake. Good service and the cake and tea was nice. Plenty of parking but be aware it has ANPR camerasFood: 4/5
Great venue, good food and service. Always good selection of Vegan options.
The best customer service I have ever experienced - Lovely, polite staff especially the man who took our order - with the circular necklace - very lovely and polite to us - A very warming place to eat and the food was exquisite. I'd recommend the fritata. I'd love to visit again, thank you to all the staff
Was always a bit expensive but good quality. Was pleased to visit on 5/6 for my favourite steak sandwich. Very disapointed to find it half the size it was before lockdown but still same price £8+ plus £2 car park so Nearly £11 for small bun!!!
