Had an absolutely wonderful time doing their self guided wine tasting experience! The wine was wonderful definitely try the grand reserve brut and definitely order the cheese flight or cheese board if you're hungry! I am so pleased we found out about Sandridge with it being open for only 6 weeks as there no doubt they are going to be so busy! Had such a fantastic experience and was transported to the vineyard's of Italy, an absolute must do!
Had lunch at the restaurant and wine tasting after. Lunch was beautiful, wine was decent. Staff was really friendly but couldn’t understand why there was only one poor waitress running the whole floor by herself during busy lunch. From what we could see there was only one chef in the kitchen too. Considering that they ask you to make a booking, management should be aware of the number of covers and put more staff on the shift so they’re not overworked and the service isn’t suffering. The one waitress and chef done a cracking job though.
Spoiled by our kids we went for a blow-out Sunday lunch with snacks, bubbly, 3 course meal with wine! Phew! Absolutely delicious and possibly the best, friendliest service ever. Hal was a superstar! The surroundings are lovely too. If you have the energy after your meal you can follow the walks that are signposted around the place. Definitely one to come back to!
A lovely vineyard with brilliant service and fantastic wine. Very well organised, we did our own tasting but all of the wines were explained and ordered on a leaflet. We also had cheese from the dairy to go alongside, all very yummy indeed!
Great estate but let’s be honest the wine is okay but compared to Italian wine this is europa vs champions league. You drink here English romance but not the best wine you’ll ever taste.

This is a beautiful setting. We came for the wine tour fun and informative and lunch, to celebrate a friends birthday. The restaurant menu is imaginative and makes the most of local produce, the wine is good and the cheese outstanding. The staff could not have done more to welcome us. Highly recommend! Also dog friendly throughout, with lots of water bowls and under cover parking so you can leave your doggy friend in the car if you just want to nip to the shop!
Devon locals, we visit a few times a year; we love the Cellar Door restaurant & cafe at Sharpham vineyard. Locally sourced food, imaginatively & beautifully cooked. Friendly, professional staff. Highly recommend.
Very informative wine and cheese tasting tour. Amazing meal in the restaurant, staff all very friendly.
Our 4th visit. On a grey and cold December day. For roast Sunday lunch. Food excellent, wine good obvs. Staff did a great job as it was fully booked and they were one member of staff down, so we'll done to them. They did a marvellous job.
