Story

The Green Man, situated in the idyllic village of Little Braxted and located conveniently to the A12.

Stunningly refurbished, the interior is a clever blend of old and new with oak beam & log fires to keep you warm in the winter.

In the kitchen the emphasis is truly on everything local. Cooking at the The Green Man is the essence of a modern country public house and great fresh food is always available. On the daily specials menu, for example, you might find Rib Eye Steak, Pan Fried Sea Bream or Smoked Chicken Caesar Salad, and the dessert portions are not for the faint hearted.

Outside in our beautiful garden we have picnic tables so you can enjoy Al fresco dining during the warmer months.

Little Braxted is set in beautiful countryside with fantastic picturesque walks, this establishment makes a great stopping place for keen walkers & cyclists.

Heading NW toward Suffolk stopped here because of reviews. Dog friendly...and wow. Truly great value lunch..Mon to Thurs over 55s two course lunch 7.99, the quality was fantastic, fresh, tasty good sized portions. Great beer and friendly service too. As we head back this way will definitely try and pop in again...it's that good. Highly recommended.

We ate here yesterday evening and were impressed with the quality of the food and speed of service. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would have scored a 5 if not for limited gluten free options.

Eight old 'uns looking for somewhere to get together for lunch during the week. Checking around we decided to give The Green Man a try. They did a fantastic lunchtime deal for the over 55s, and as most of us just about remember that era this pub got our vote. We had a room to ourselves which gave us the thought that, maybe, our reputation had preceded us. Joking apart, a great welcome with really friendly service. The food, for its price was brilliant. Starters of crayfish in Marie Rose dressing was in enormous portions with nice chunky, warm, bread. My pate was delicious. The main courses were varied in choice but in every case the empty plates answered the question 'was that OK?' As I have said, lovely pub, great service, good food and, mainly, an extremely reasonable price. Hey, oldies.......check it out.

Love this place. Sunday roast is to die for! Staff are really friendly and engaging. And can use taste card which makes it much easier to justify going!
