Finally came for dinner after I had been meaning too for months! I’d like to say I’ll be returning soon, but maybe not in as much of a hurry as I’d thought. Atmosphere was nice in each room, staff were friendly, although like everywhere at the moment it seemed a little understaffed. Took around 20 minutes after arriving to order drinks. After that food service picked up, we ordered a variety of items, favourites were the prawns and Iberian ham! I wouldn’t say I was blown away but maybe my choices were a bit ‘safe’. There were no drinks menu so the bill came as a bit of a shock to find out a jug of sangria was nearly £25! We wouldn’t have ordered a second had I known! All in all, had a nice meal but definitely a special treat, as the two of us spent £110, and I definitely could have eaten more! Lovely local restaurant though and staff were lovely.
An absolutely amazing find! Highly recommend if you want a relaxing atmosphere with some tasty food. Can't wait to get back and try some of their other dishes.
El Pulpo is a lovely little restaurant. Chock full of ambience and good food. The staff are friendly and accommodating and it's always busy. The food is varied and tasty, and every dish I've had has been well presented and enjoyable. The staff helped me find a table at short notice in my anniversary and it was an easy walk on the high street, do the location was great. All in all a real gem and worth a visit or two if you want good food!
Went here for dinner with my family for my birthday. Absolutely wonderful food and service and we all very much enjoyed the Spanish guitarist, really added to the atmosphere. He's there on Wednesdays! All in all, great experience and prices are as you would expect for food of that quality. Worth every penny and will definitely will be returning at some point!

amazing food! Not a cheap night out but the food is upmarket and good quality to justify the prices. Lovely atmosphere, great date spot and lovely staff - thank you !!! Also - great gluten free menu!!!! Really easy to see what was GF on the menu and loads of choices which is so important!! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly
Quite a nice buzzing atmosphere and the staff are helpful and friendly. Food wise it is quite average Spanish tapas. The patatas bravas not cooked enough, calamari batter was soggy and somewhat greasy, overall the dishes were nothing was really exceptional nor inspired except perhaps the bill, and considering there was not much in the way of drink was very much on the high end for this calibre of food.
Excellent selection of dishes, beautifully cooked and well presented - delicious ! Warm, friendly and very helpful staff and lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
Wonderful place and fantastic food. Great selection and our server, Kim, was the nicest and happiest person to have served us in a very long time. They even gave me a brownie as it was my birthday. Keep up the amazing service and the amazing selection of fresh tasty food.
Great atmosphere and food. As it happens there were live music on the day we were there which makes it a much better experience.
