All our rooms are doubles or twins, and we also have z-beds and cots available for infants and children, if needed.The shop supplies the daily essentials, home made treats and champions local produce meat from our local butcher and vegetables from the South West of the UK. I adored both this pub and the room I had a one-night stay in. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated, with a great selection of toiletries and big, fluffy towels. Although I didn't take advantage of it, one charming amenity was a chilled tub of single-serve milk available in the hall for your tea or coffee -- how cool is that? Dinner in the pub was great totally killer fish pie, and my partner had the best Irish coffee of his life, with prompt service, yummy food, and a very warm atmosphere. Breakfast was also nice and very filling, with a varied menu available. Honestly, I could have just vibed in the pub for hours on end, that's how lovely it was. Unfortunately, I arrived too late and left too early to visit their shop ... but all in all, a stay at the Green Dragon is good value and quite pleasant.
Pretty Cotswold stone pub in a glorious setting, staff are friendly and service very quick. We had dinner on a Saturday evening and every course for all 6 of us was delicious - the Italian spritz cocktails are worth a try too. Highly recommended.
Have been for lunch a couple of times. Lovely staff, terrific food and a great atmosphere. As a party if 6 on Boxing Day we were impressed with how well they coped with a fully booked lunch. Well done and thank you!
One word “Superb” Just arrived back in the U.K. after 7 years in France and went to the Green Dragons for our first evening out. Lovely country pub atmosphere, good bitter, excellent food , log fires and tasteful Christmas decorations. It’s great to be back and enjoying the frequently overlooked joys of living in England.
Beautifully decorated for Christmas and a lovely fire on a cold Sunday. Enjoyed my roast Sunday dinner but the lamb was very chewy. Lovely puddings and a friendly family atmosphere. Will definitely return- thank you.
Enjoyable and well presented food. Bit on the pricey side, but I'd expect that from an inn in such a location. Plenty of outdoor seating, prompt food delivery. Bar staff gave us a good laugh.
Stayed overnight in lovely clean rooms, good menu and wonderful food, 8ncluding breakfast. I can see why the pub is so busy during Saturday and evening. Great atmosphere and welcoming staff all.makes to a lovely experience.
Quite nice restaurant with fireplace, and nice shop open during the day with quality products. We also stayed in one of their rooms, had a small window but its quite cosy. Only issue was we were told breakfast was till 10.30 same as checkout time but turns out it was till 10am only.Rooms: 4/5
Popped in for a late lunch and despite having no booking were met with lovely, warm customer service and a delicious meal. Beautiful ambiance with an open fire and low beams - exactly the cosy autumn vibe we were going for!
Great little, dog friendly, countryside pub with parking. I've only ever visited this pub in the evening but it's fab summer and winter! The foods always amazing and the service is fab! Become one of my favourites!
