Popular eating spot! We spend a good couple of hours, watching people fill up every table as soon as they became available. Always great to see lots of locally sourced foods and drinks. Really tasty baby roast potatoes with half a head of roasted garlic... Beautifully sweet! The black pudding had an unusual but pleasant flavor. The steak sandwich was fantastic!! The seasoning was spot on, the salad leaves were thoroughly dressed, not just drizzled on the top, and the steak itself was cooked rare, to perfection. The only downside was that the bread was a little oily (on the outside) so I couldn't actually eat it as a sandwich. It was far too slippy to hold and I got covered in oil... So I just used my cutlery 🤣 Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff 10/10

Absolutely lovely setting next to the river. One of my favourite places in Ludlow. Friendly welcome. You can go there for a delicious light meal or just tea/coffee and cake. Everything is seasonal and cooked fresh to order. It is not a big space so be patient. There's outside seating with a canopy for hot days and blankets and hot water bottles for cooler ones. Dogs are welcome and a takeaway drinks option. Closed on Monday.

Friendly café with a lovely riverside setting, where you can enjoy local watching local wildlife from a distance. Seating is limited but there is extra seating outside and blankets provided when its a bit chilly. Nice selection of cakes but we didn't see any savoury snacks, probably as its the end of season. Lovely staff and ambience, but can get a bit cramped when café is full if you don't mind the odd 'bump'.
