Such a beautiful house and gardens and the bonus of a hot tub. We had a great weekend celebrating a 60th birthday. The age ranges were 1 - 81 years and there was something for everyone. The communication was excellent and we felt looked after. We would definitely recommend this lovely place.
We stayed at the Pheasantry in Flaborough for 6 nights with family and our dog whilst celebrating our son's wedding. We had a wonderful time. The house was spacious and very well equipped for our stay. This was the first time we have taken our dog on holiday and I can report that he loved it too. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the garden was fully enclosed making it safe for our dog too. Lots of nice walks nearby and not too far from the village shops/ pub etc. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to holiday in Flamborough.
We were booked into Kittiwakes with hottub however a couple of days before the owners communicated the heating wasn't working and asked to move to Puffin next door but said we could still use the hot tub. The cottage was beautiful inside you can tell they take a lot of pride in keeping it to a high standard and very clean! It had everything you needed for your stay and more! Our children loved their massive bedroom and TV.nnUnfortunately we didn't get the best use out of the hot tub due to having to walk into next doors garden to access it and its freezing outside this time of year. We would have got more use out of it if it had been right outside the back door as planned but we still gave it a try once.nnJust a little feedback for the owners, I am a light sleeper and unfortunately the light from the laundry meant I woke regularly on the first night due to the light being directly outside the main bedrooms window shining in. After speaking to one of cleaners the next day we realised we could have turned it off as the laundry is unlocked, however, the second night my husband went to turn it off only to realise the lights are also coming from the other cottages outside lights so unfortunately another night of poor sleep. If it is possible some black out curtains would work a treat and prevent this as the blind does not keep the light out.nnOverall the location, quality of furnishings and cleanliness of the cottage was fantastic and to a high standard, there were only a couple of points that impacted our stay. We would not let these stop us from considering booking again!
Excellent Christmas week. Stayed at The Grange Holiday Cottage named Guillemot at Flamborough. We found the property to be well equipped, spacious, quiet and warm. Had a lovely walk to the lighthouse for a couple of coffees. It is also local to the nearby seaside resorts.nnEric Mitchell and Dawn Millett.
A brilliant bank holiday weekend staying in The Grange Holidays Puffin Cottage. So spacious and so quiet - I slept like a log! It was a short walk to the Co-op to get supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed Bempton Cliffs where we caught a glimpse of a harbour porpoise as well as fluffy gannet chicks. We also saw seals up by the lighthouse. It's a lovely part of the country and Puffin Cottage was the perfect place to stay.
