Great food. Fast and helpful service, Lionel!!! We got there after 2pm and the yummy food was cooked to order. Gladly surprise with the generous portions and fair prices. Free limited by time car park for patrons We will try to come back when in the area.
Visited the gower over the weekend with a few friends and the dogs after a walk. Staff were very friendly and attentive. There is a good range of dishes on the menu which are great value for the price. The dogs loved all the attention from the staff. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.
Called here on the off chance last night, we are so glad we did, food was amazing, price was reasonable and the staff although very busy took the time to chat with us, we would definitely recommend calling here for a meal. Thank you for a lovely evening
A disappointing experience. Stopped here for a lunch and had a good Rib Eye steak with a very sad, wilted side salad that was served instead of ‘glazed seasonal veg’ and a boat of peppercorn sauce that was clearly on its second use two high tide marks. A tomato and basil soup was served in a filthy bowl, which I’ll optimistically assume was from stirring after reheating. Disabled toilet’s and changing facilities were dirty. Looks like it has the potential to be a really nice place if and possible we caught them on a bad day. Felt like it was a very junior team with no oversight. Good beer/cider selection.
We stopped here for lunch whilst on holiday and sat outside. We had a Rump Steak Philly sandwich which came with a side salad and a portion of sweet potato fries and chicken and chorizo skewers. The portions were generous and the food was well cooked and tasted great! Would recommend!
Friendly service, lovely views, bit on the expensive side but down to location which was beautiful.
Came to the Gower Inn mid to late afternoon with my girlfriend and dog hoping for a table for Sunday Dinner. They kindly welcomed us in and showed us to a seat that was perfect for the dog. My girlfriend and I are both vegetarians and had the mushroom Wellington with all the trimmings and a side of cauliflower cheese. Lived up to expectations. Superb Sunday lunch! Reasonably priced, staff very friendly and helpful and catered to the dog also. Overall a very good experience and will be returning when down this neck of the woods!
Lovely atmosphere, particularly given the Christmas decorations. Lucas and a colleague greeted us and were very attentive and caring during our visit, taking the time to update us that certain menu items had just become available. The food arrived promptly, was delicious, very well presented and reasonably priced. Having free car parking and pet friendly areas is great. Will certainly be returning.
Really good service, delicious food and a wide variety of vegetarian options as well. Staff were very friendly and overall the pub/restaurant had a very warmly feel to it. I will definitely be be visiting again soon and recommend you do too.
Pleasant place to eat. Didn't have to book, 4 of us just turned up and ordered, good prices, very fresh food, we had a roast and the vegetables were absolutely lovely, and lots of meat too. Clean place. Dog friendly. Good staff.
