Comfortable theatre. The souvenir shop has good collection. The cafe/bar on the corner is perfect spot to unwind.
We went to see Romeo and Juliet. Great modern performance from a youthful cast, while keeping the lingo authentic. There were several links to modern mental health issues that tied into the story, which I thought was inspired. A great experience.
Amazing experience. I’ve been fascinated by Shakespeare from a very young age and so visiting the Globe has been on my bucket list for a long time. The performance of The Tempest was incredible, completely enthralling and hilarious. I cannot wait to attend again.
With the globe to the left and a wonderful views of London to right a great place to sit and watch
My first experience of staged Shakespeare .. Certainly won't be the last. Fantastic atmosphere Memorable event.
Utterly indescribable how good the performance of Romeo and Juliet was. The actors make Shakespeare so accessible and easy to understand... That's an understatement. They make it extremely enjoyable, engaging and gripping. I had goosebumps several times and tears in my eyes at the end. God it's good to go to the theatre again.
First time here. Saw Romeo and Juliet Was nice to go back to the theatre after COVID. Not many wearing masks but felt it was safe still as it’s open air. When the actors went into the crowds they wore masks which was clever. The play was very good and connected an old classic with modern themes. A cool way to do it!
It was our first time, definitely visiting again staff were lovely and helpful
Lovely atmosphere, staff were helpful and courteous. The performance of Romeo & Juliet, was fantastic, the modern twist a suprise but well executed. In seated area, most of the performance could be seen, small parts when not able to see so well. Would go again.
Absolutely brilliant performance of Romeo and Juliet. We had standing tickets which are a bargain but towards the end I wouldn't have said no to a sit down. I think I would still get standing tickets next time though.
