This place is cool. Great selection of drinks, the staff are really friendly. The manager set me up with a specific match I wanted to watch on the TV. Very good atmosphere, nice crowd, mellow and friendly, but nice people. Bar food was okay. A good experience overall!
I've been here quite a few times. One of the best. Great atmosphere and the staff is helpful and works with a lot of patience. It is dog friendly.
My daughter loved the food and drinks. She wants to go again! She said everything was great, the drinks, the chips and the hallumi!! Service was quick also.
I visited The Albany today with some friends for drinks and dinner. I cannot recommend this place enough! It has the classic pub charm whilst also providing stunning food. I would recommend the sausage and mash, the pie, and the fish and chips. The service was phenomenal, I was served by a barman called Adrian who walked me through all the drink options and catered to all our needs. We will certainly visit again.
Update - came here with a group of 11 people. In addition to drinks we shared the really tasty menu of bar snacks that were cooked to order. A lady called Suh gave us enthusiastic and helpful service. Great traditional pub right by Great Portland Street tube station. Was busy on a Thursday night but staff managed to give quick service. I didn't eat here but the food looked good. Good beer selection and cask beers are now back on. Seating and standing room inside but people also drinking out on the street which created a nice vibe.
Lovely pub and great food and staff. We received such great service by a lady, she was tall with ginger hair, she was bubbly and full of life chatting with us! As we are visiting London she made us feel welcome and gave us some great sights to see, she mentioned the pub had entertainment downstairs and we will be back to see this! Was such a nice vibe! She did mention her name it was either Yasmine or jasmine I’m sorry I didn’t quite catch it properly. Thank you for a great evening, we will be back!
Excellent venue, especially for the downstairs gigs. We went to 'Debbie Does... Halloween' for a thoroughly entertaining array of musicians. Well worth it. Small therefore intimate; friendly and good vibes all around. Couldn't recommend enough. Well done everybody and thank you.
Our party were treated so kindly when we visited the Albany. We were looked after by a member of staff called Adrian, he couldn’t do enough for us, he also gave us some sightseeing tips. We can’t recommend this pub enough, and the food was wonderful. Thanks for making us so feel welcome.
Ellie was great throughout when assisting us hosting a work event in the private room downstairs at the Albany. Everything went to plan and we had a great night. It was really handy having our own private bar!! Would highly recommend if you are thinking of booking an event. Thanks from all the MediaSense team.
