The Glasgow Academy Milngavie is a school as all schools should be. It provides a very supportive environment for children to develop their own individual strengths and confidence in their abilities. Through its small class sizes a lot of time can be dedicated to each child making sure they achieve their full academic potential. Yet at the same time there is a real community feel to the school and the children have a strong sense of belonging. This is all complemented by numerous extracurricular activities and clubs. Our daughter loves her school and we have never experienced a single day where she would not run full of excitement through the school gates in the morning! We highly recommend TGA Milngavie to any parent!

I feel that The Glasgow Academy Milngavie provides children with an excellent start in life and I am delighted we chose it as a prep school for our daughter. Committed, approachable staff, a welcoming family environment and a focus on each individual child are strengths that, I feel, set it apart from other schools. This is a school where children seem to grow in confidence year after year with a real sense of pride and achievement. I would recommend this outstanding school to any parent.

This is a caring, professional and friendly school where parents, children and staff feel part of one close family. It has provided the best start, in our opinion, for our two children from nursery to P4. One where their individual needs and personalities have been balanced against a rigorous and high quality academic approach. We unreservedly recommend TGA Milngavie to any prospective parents. Go and see for yourself!

Glasgow Academy Milngavie has provided the best start in life for our two young girls from nursery to prep 4. You have all the benefits of small class sizes and a friendly yet rigorous apporach to teaching but with the support of the larger Glasgow Academy School behind it. To me it is the best of both worlds, it's like a traditional village or prep school but with all the added benefits of being part of a much larger school. Where else would you get class sizes of 10 - 12 pupils per class in one of the large fee paying schools in Glasgow. If you live in or around Bearsden or Milngavie, go along to the school to see for yourself. It's such a happy, buzzing place to be.
