Had an absolutely lovely time here with a group of friends. We popped in for dinner and we ended up staying for hours and were more than pleasantly surprised. We were very much from out of town and the locals and staff were extremely welcoming and added to the enjoyment of the trip. 

The food itself was very pleasant and they had good facilities including pool tables, darts, jukebox and a lovely beer garden. 

I would definitely recommend popping in if you're in the area.

Been twice before and found incredible value. Nice warm welcome   lovely homely feel to the place. Nice table layout and professional appearance.  Was quite busy the night we were in on a Tuesday evening.  Quality of food very good. Beautifully prepared, chef  obviously takes an interest in presentation.  Also quantity on plate will satisfy all. I actually left a small amount which is rare for me. Highly recommended, unable to find any fault.

Starers came with mains, which took a long time. Trio of lamb from special came floating in a bowl of watery gravy. 4oz rump wasn't 4oz. All meat was tough, won't be returning. Nice looking place though

Food was lovely the place has been opened up. It has a function Room which is just the right size for a good do. You can go outside and have a drink. A good atmosphere. Friendly people working and running the place

Another favourite restaurant of mine. Discovered by chance recently and been back twice so far. Food quality and presentation very good. Outstanding value at lunchtime as it's a little dearer in the evening.  So far tried a different menu on each visit and not been dissatisfied.  Staff very good , clean and well managed. Highly recommended.
