Absolutely the best Indian food we have had for a long time! Top service, lovely atmosphere, amazing food and reasonably priced. 10 out of 10.
the restaurant itself has good decore and friendly staff but food was average or slightly above average
We dined on Sunday evening over the Bank Holiday weekend, so not very busy. The food was very good, service efficient however you do have to wait a while for your food! Tasty food when it arrived, don't go if you want a quick turnaround, go if you want to chat and eat good food.
A nice, smiling friendly reception. Asked us to choose our table. A wide and varied menu that showcases Indian food at its best. Food was really nice. All starters, mains and sides could not be faulted. Attentive and friendly service throughout, without being overbearing. A real treat.
Food is fine but my God the management need to get a grip. We went about two weeks ago and ordered our food and a bottle of red....we were presented with a bottle of brown not sauce. The wine was that off it really was brown. The two older guys really took offence to this and said we couldn't have any wine...just beer. WTF. I'm sure my wife would be happy with a pint NOT. I said I wanted white wine rather than risk another red. 15 minutes later they came over with a white wine and the look was like they were doing us a favour not what we'd have chosen but hey. The food is fine, the price is fine but the service is a complete joke. Far from perfect.
I asked the waiter what he recommended based on what I told him I liked. After serving the food, he sensed that it might not be as spicy as I had expected, and asked if I wanted the sauce made spicier. A few fresh bird eye chillies later, and bang! Perfect Garlic Chilli Lamb. Will definitely eat here next time I’m in town.
Having previously given a 4 star rating I'm having to downgrade due to recent experience. We ordered takeaway on Sunday evening, and when I went to collect there were only 2 people dining in the restaurant, so very quiet. Got home with our food to find that one item was missing. This is the third and final time I will tolerate this. It wasn't busy so there's really no excuse. Also the dishes themselves were sub par to say the least, and the yoghurt & mint dip had been watered down. I mean it was literally like water. In conclusion, we're not even going to bother complaining, we'll simply find ourselves another curry house.
Slow service. They served food that was dodgy, and three of us had upset stomachs very quickly afterwards. I noticed the food hygiene report after eating there. They forgot chicken and all the desserts had freezer burn. I'm fairly sure mine had gone off.
Tasty "Indian" food at reasonable prices. Quite enjoyed our evening here, the usual "Indian" mega choice of curries available. Anyone care to explain the difference between the choice of about 9 Chefs specials and 9 house specials?!? Toilets were clean, the décor is interesting if you like LED lit plaster mouldings. The background music played is the usual elevator piano nothingness or some odd take on Indian style music. The two curries we ate were both nicely spiced, meat was tender as it should be. The naan bread was very impressive indeed. All larger portions, we only needed to share a single portion of rice and we still left some. Service was reasonable and quick, apart from getting us the bill at the end. Recommend though and will be back again soon.
Overpriced and dishonest. The tofu and aubergine Shashlick was 50% massive slices of onion and a beef tomato cut in two. A menu was put through our door quoting £5 off your order, I mentioned this when ordering they said they'd do it but when my husband went to pay they conveniently forgot and say they'd do it for the next order.
