Staying for easter weekend near to this pub and decided to visit today. Whilst we were there we ordered a delivery for the evening from the Moubourne Indian Restaurant three separate meals but for the same family When it arrived, they said it wasn’t paid for and when we resolved the issue that it was paid for prior in the restaurant they drove off without dropping off the other two parts of the order, with the other one sat going cold. There had been zero communication between the restaurant and drivers. This has put us off ordering food from them again!

The so called restaurant side of this place is awful. They cannot cater for large parties, any food that was put on the table was cold and inedible, one of our party didn't have any of his food that he had ordered. None of the management came out, the lady that runs the pub did come and speak to our group but could not help. If you want a good curry with friends...do not go to the Gate Inn
Good pint, friendly staff and good conversation
Don't know why it had me down as only one star previously, as I didn't do a review. Friendly pub with welcoming landlords. Good food with no frills at a very reasonable price. Beer prices one of the lowest around, especially happy hour 4 to 6 weekday most pints are £2:50.
A wonderful place to eat and meet family and friends. Never had a bad meal. Easy to park, excellent staff, always friendly, great selection of foods and Beers, Good menu. Would certainly recommend but need to get there early Excellent curry night on a Thursday, starter and main for £10
Excellent indian meal in the old skittle alley of the pub. All in price £10.99 for starter and main with rice or naan bread. Faultless very tasty meal,would highly recommend.
All ways a good night there.. frendly staff and nice atmosphere
