We had lunch in the horse box. It was a wet day abit cold but it was thoroughly enjoyed by the gorgeous meal of a roast chicken lunch followed by Gin and tonic and coffee. No room for a dessert! Will most definitely go again.
Good but we sat outside on a horse box and it was really cold! Expected I suppose but a friend had told me it was ok and that they took their coats off no chance of that last night husband had the pie who stayed hot I had the veg Wellington which didn't but will go again when its warmer and when we are able
Wonderful location, great atmosphere. Friendly staff and lovely food. Would recommend, but ry the come mid week rather than Friday and Saturday as service can be a little slower. Still a great experience. Hope you have a great day
Lovely historic pub, excellent Uley beer. Food Sunday Roast lukewarm, roast potatoes poor, pork relatively flavourless, the lamb was described as chewy. Expected better for £15 and £14. On that showing would advise for a drink and ambience, but avoid the food.
Lovely atmosphere, super friendly staff and the thickest sandwich I have had in a long while plus the nicest pint I have had in months.
Very reasonable prices. 3 drinks for £13 or so. Parking is a bit of a pain, not that they can resolve the issue, but worth knowing. Decent selection behind the bar.
Lovely quirky old pub serving a great range of ale's and good food. Polite welcoming staff and a lovely fire to sit by, what more could you want on a cold autumn night.
Quiet spacious and tranquil setting that served a great Sunday beef roast and real ales. Definitely worth a visit.
