Absolutely loved my visit to The Gardeners Arms! I had the Ultimate Spicy Beef Burger and Katsu Chicken Loaded Fries—both were packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The burger had the perfect kick, and the loaded fries were crispy, rich, and seriously tasty.nnGreat atmosphere, friendly staff, and a solid selection of drinks. The beer garden is a lovely bonus too. Highly recommend if you're after quality pub food and a relaxed vibe. Will definitely be back!
Myself and my 2 children spent Christmas lunch here and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were kind and warming through the whole service. We were allowed to take our dog also. The Christmas lunch food was lovely fresh vegetables and well presented. We will be booking again for Christmas day.nnWe have eaten here on other occasions and the food is always nice and the staff are 10/10
Very disappointing. We are not local to this pub and travelled a fair distance to visit on Saturday evening for food. When we arrived we were told there is no food being served due to an upcoming refurb, which I understand, but why was this not displayed on the website informing customers? The only infomation that was displayed was last food order was 19.45. We decided to stop for a drink anyway, but even the drinks order couldn’t be completed to our satisfaction as they had ran out of Chardonnay wine. We learnt of this after we had paid for the order. To be fair they did offer to refund the wine, but we declined. I wish the gardener arms well with their refurb, and I hope they get the small details right in the future like displaying correct info on there website and ensuring a drinks are well stocked, especially before taking payment. I recently visited The Gardners Arms, and it was a great experience overall. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a nice mix of locals and visitors. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing.nThe food really stood out, pub classics done well. I had the Ultimate Southern Fried Chicken Burger which was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly, and the portion size was generous, filling, but not too much, I even managed to empty my plate! The drinks menu has an absolutely solid selection and a very fair price too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re after good food, and great service.
NEWLY REFURBISHED! Really tasteful refurb. Really like the layout. Open and modern. Staff on there A game. Treated brilliantly. Food was really good with new menu options. Only downside is the men's toilets haven't been fully refurbed.nnThe food was well cooked and delicious. Service was great. Monday was a good day to go because it's a bit quieter and also they have an offer on the ales. Background music not too loud. Will be back again.great place for food and /or a drink with friends. Hope that the pub stays as its one of the best in the area with good assortment of drink and friendly staff. The landlords are really good and work hard.
