Had a lovely tasting lunch today and served by friendly,helpful staff in a very 'homely pub'.The reason I only gave 4 stars was because there was hardly any veg with our meat which meant having paid nearly £30 for our lunch we were still a bit hungry! Would love to visit again but only if you could increase the veg portion!

Lovely carvery lunch, kids were looked after well and both enjoyed the meal options. Will pop back next time we are in the area.

New owners have changed this place out of recognition. 
We popped in for morning tea, coffee and breakfast baps... simply excellent farye and very friendly staff.
Keep up the great work guys.
