Visited this restaurant on a local person highly rating it. Nice small restaurant but the menu is rather small too. Everything seems to be cooked genuinely from scratch which is a bonus.  The pork belly starter was amazing I must admit but the Thai green curry was dry, never had a Thai dish that wasn't swimming so to say.  Other than that it's worth a visit as there does not seem to be much in the area unless you jump in the car for 10mins +

Went for breakfast. will 100% be returning. They nicest breakfast i have ever had. presented well and tasted amazing.
Hats of to the owner of this place. Tidy, sophisticated and welcoming restaurant in a perfect setting. Had an older lady serve us, very polite and accommodating. Will recomend and re visit.  Thank you.

Fantastic restaurant, the food is superb. The staff are really lovely too. Would thoroughly recommend anyone to visit The Galley - you won't be disappointed! Thank you Tom and team for making us feel so welcome. Dave and Sally x

Had a fabulous evening last week celebrating a big birthday, however evening spoilt by female staff member who, on bringing out the birthday cake, informed us we were NOT to eat any of the cake on the premises!!!!
Majority of restaurants would have offered plates so everyone could have a slice!!
We spend a lot of money that night and they couldn’t let us eat a lousy piece of cake.

We were well looked after from the outset. We opted to go with the pate and the prawn cocktail, both really good!
For mains I went for the pork belly and the Mrs went for the duck.
From the entire experience we had only one 'complaint'' the pork belly portion was huge! Other than that, it was beautiful! The restaurant was small, homely, with a cracking atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend visiting the Galley to people, I left full, happy and excited about the next visit!
