Food and drink was good and reasonably priced. Service was quick, staff friendly. The only minus was the tables were quite dirty.
Classic English pub, very tasty cider with strawberry and lime. Clean, lots of space, you can build football, friendly staff.
The food was actually nice for cheap pub grub. Unfortunately the place was filthy. The waitress started to clear one table and knew we was stood waiting for it and then didn't come back to finish removing the rest or wiping it down! So we had to do it and then use our own hand sanitiser to clean the table! Other than that it's cheap and cheerful. Easy to order from the app and both drinks and food arrived quickly.
This is my favourite but today the food was disgusting. Eggs were well over cooked and the ham was dry as a bone. Think Mr wheatherspoons needs to evaluate the chef. Chips were fine though but that's it sadly.
I was very surprised at the price of the self service machine coffee and a cake under £5 and the coffee was also unlimited. It was a very enjoyable visit in the afternoon which was quiet and perfect for socialising. I would definitely go back again
I haven't eaten at a wetherspoons for a while, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the serving of the food and food itself! The chips were lovely! The cheese and tuna was OK, nice coke with ice for a great price. The staff were friendly & efficient. The best thing was all the condiments were available, full size bottles of mayo, ketchup and vinegar! Impressed!
Quick service, nice beer, wine OK. Burns dish cheap and cheerful. Haggis and keeps nice, mashed potatoes clearly powdered, not quite enough water so dry and some lumps. Good building, easy to find a quiet table, big open centre gives good atmosphere.
Not very nice .... cold beans . Hard egg... burnt bacon Replacement of a egg benedict which was sour and out of date ham.... Avoid
Looked understaffed. Ordered food and coffee but wasn't given a cup to get coffee. Had to wait for 10 mins for staff member to return to the bar to get a cup. Coffee machine was disgusting. Area around coffee machine didn't look like it had been cleaned in a week. Burger was dry and rock hard. Must have been sat in the kitchen for hours. Probably the second worst Wetherspoons I have ever been in.
We just recently visited the place after about 4 years. It looks clean like for the pub and nicely decorated. the food was just ok, not the worst for the price.
