Staying in Deal for the weekend. Luckily just down the road from Fryer Tuck. Happy to see it had good reviews and very well deserved. First and foremost the food is great! Not greasy. Full of flavour. All the best classic options. The service was excellent. We collected in store and had a good chat with the staff. It’s clearly popular and does home deliveries. Highly recommend.
Went here last night on the off chance as I'm new to the area and it's a lovely little chippy with excellent customer service and telling me about how it's family owned. Now I have had a few chippies from places around dover and deal and overall they not to good so I nearly did not go in here for the same reason however I was totally wrong and I'm glad for it finally a chippie that cooks chips all the way through and crunchy on the outside nice and soft on the inside not to greasey either. The battered sausages were nice and crunchy and the gherkin was very nice too only slight complaint is the egg was slightly too soft for my liking but that's just me personally. Prices are very decent too will be back twice more to let you know how it holds up and if still excellent then I will update it to 5 stars Update: hey this is now my second time here now with pictures everything here was a vast improvement over the last time even the egg which was so nice this time gherkins as my fiance says nice and crunchy with plenty of taste to it. My other half had the salvoly this time very nice with plenty of rich of flavour and a nich meaty taste however they did me a 12 inch bad boy sausage in batter I never seen a sausage this big at fish and chips place in a long time not since my old favourite in gravesend and that was a once off this is gonna be a regular item on the menu I got the prototype which was glorious photos attached. Now the oh so important chips how where they on second time the main item? They were delicious plenty of crunchy goodness for the those crunchy.lovers like me with plenty of soft potato goodness from the inside this place is amazing from the staff to the food I will be coming here one more time for a review where will do a video on my YouTube channel foundpopcorn798 in the next couple of weeks for those who are interested for now however I will leave you with this updated review now with photos take care all my viewers and happy 2024 Update: went here for the third time and it's a perfect chippie food is constantly nice and always cooked to perfection staff always nice and friendly and with amazing prices go check then out
It's great to see this chippie up and running again as it does the best fish n chips in Deal. The place is very popular with reason, fast service, delivery and great quality food. It's not open every day, so check their website for updates.
I can’t say enough good things about this chippy in Deal! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a welcoming atmosphere. The fish was incredibly fresh, cooked to golden perfection. The chips aren’t soggy and you can tell everything is cooked in fresh oil. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food you receive. The staff were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The place is far above the other chippies in the town.
