Great pub to sit and drink in peace , the food is always well presented, dished hot. The menu is superb and the food is very filling and delicious, it's a great place to take your partner for a quiet undisturbed meal and a beverage . The service is polite and professional, the atmosphere is pleasant. Good place to dine and wine or just sit and have a quiet pint in peace. And the restroom is clean and tidy too. Free parking. Very underestimated this pub. It's just a lovely sit down and eat kind a place, the food is better than some places that pass them self's off as restaurants. They certainly know how to cook and prepare food here, well presented on your plate and with a side dish or garnish. The beverages are compatible with anywhere else. The atmosphere here is very relaxing. Very mature crowd come here. Try this place at least once for a meal I'm sure you'll enjoy and be back again. I rate it that highly.

Stayed in the twin room. This family run pub with rooms has been in the same family for several generations. It is on a surprisingly busy road which is quite noisy if you have the window open. The room is quite small but clean and tidy. The internal bathroom could really do with a refurbishment. The breakfast was well cooked. It has a beautifully tended garden. Friendly staff.
