The Frog and Wicket

About

A really vibrant & fun traditonal pub, in a picturesque setting opposite England's oldest functioning cricket ground, and on the Three Castles Path (walking route from Winchester Castle to Windsor Castle via Odiham Castle). Live music too!

Story

One of the best live music pub venues for miles, and possibly the best Sunday Roast you can get in a pub at pub prices - so they say.

Wonderful atmosphere, competent friendly staff, gluten free catered for. Maybe empty bowl and wipe with mussels could be considered otherwise brilliant. Thank you all for a lovely evening. Couldn't fault service even though very busy. Looking forward to new menu in May.

Nice pub with friendly staff and very good beer. They have a separate function room available, close by the bar, which has a skittle alley and is perfect for a club meeting or private party. The outside area is also very good, in the right weather. Not always had great food myself but plenty of friends really like it. Also plenty of parking.

Possibly our favourite pub in the area. It has a nice cosy feel to it. We have been numerous times and eaten lunch and dinner here including Sunday roast. On the whole the food is usually very good but we have had once or twice were it was average compared to their usual standard, but never bad.

Myself and a group of friends were able to bag ourselves a last minute table at this pub on Sunday for what was an incredible Sunday Roast! You have the option of 2 or 3 courses, most of us opted for 3 and we did not regret it. The food was delicious! We all went for the beef which was cooked to perfection with a great selection of veg and an awesome Yorkshire pud. All the other dishes that were coming out of the kitchen looked just as delicious. The starters and the pudding were just the right size to accompany a roast. We finished our meal with a great game of 'Ringing the Bull' in the main pub area. Last but by no means least the staff were so friendly . We were served by Lauren who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, even though it was very busy. Can't recommend this pub enough for it's food, games and service.
