Excellent food both meat and vegitarian dishes. I had a vegetarian Wellington and it was fantastic! Atmosphere was relaxed and can't wait to try the place in the summer.

Excellent food, me and my partner had roasts, probably the best we've ever had in a pub! Nice atmosphere in the bar area as well, nice and relaxed.

Comfortable seating and pleasant staff. Had 3 coarse lunch menu @ £15 and food was okay. Will visit again.

Nice place. Nice staff. Unfortunately the food is overpriced pretentious and very bland. Also dont like the fact you are forced to pay a service charge. We would of given the staff a much bigger tip than 10 percent but think why should we when it all goes to the company. I would not go back to the chequers again. One out of ten for food

Sunday lunch was very popular and the service was much slower than usual, food was still good though.
