We do our monthly eastern shopping here. Isles are very narrow but it's because of how many items they offer : There is a parking lot that if you're lucky and get a place, you can enjoy shopping.
Good place for authentic Indian ingredients and other products. But, not a lot of place to maneuver. Good variety and excellent choices.
I was looking for fresh fruits and vegetables, extremely disappointed! There were only a few scattered old peppers and some stuff that had seen better days!
Makes us feel at home with a variety of Indian goods we get here....specially loved the methi theplas......small shop but satisfying every need
A decent place to look for indian products however do check expiry dates before purchasing any products here.
Easily accessible, small but sufficiently stocked grocery store for Asians and Asian flavors loving English. It has everything that could be needed at times normal as well as ceremonial /festive. The products under offer are choosen strictly based on customer preferences hence of required quality. And everything is available for less than online shopping. All this PLUS the charming,friendly,helpful person at the counter. I loved the place and do patronise it. I recommend with full responsibility.
Great place to get Indian groceries in Newbury
Good stock of Indian Vegetables, Spices and other items. Our every week buy list must have are Dosa Batter, Some vegetables, Frozen Fish and Frozen Parathas.
I found the owner to be very helpful.. Like when I landed, I didnt know that I have to sign on my travel card etc.. He helped me also to plan my weekend trips to nearby places..And yes they have ample variety of Indian food items
The only one store in Newbury that has variety of indian branded rice, pulses and other snack items. A lot of vegetables consumed by indians are also available and depending on the day you visit, we can sometimes find the vegetables stale and at times very fresh. Rice, pulses, spices, idli batter, indian vegetables, snacks, instant foods, frozen chappathis all these are available here.
