Five old school friends who usually go to a restaurant met up in my garden. we put up the gazebo and ordered afternoon tea . We were delighted with the food boxes. The amount and the quality. Lots of carry home treats for partners. Each of us has already recommended to other friends
Pretty disappointed. First try of this place. We got egg custard tarts and the egg was scrambled and not smooth as it should be. Hey, maybe that’s how the French like their custard tarts, but it’s not how I like mine.
Probably the best bakery in Newcastle.
Overpriced is the first observation. Too much of the food is uncovered and often easily brushed by passers by or sneezed on etc etc is the second. Not a great combination. Savoury pastries can be more pastry then filling. But hey ho it caters to people who want to feel better than Greggs I guess
Very poor bread... not French at all
