Fascinating and interesting place. Shop well stocked with own milled products / flours / including gluten free. Really would benefit from having guided tours as could be really educational and informative, making the visit even better. Recommend checking opening times as not always open.

The five sailed windmill is pretty unique. There is some free parking and a coffee shop on site. You can buy flour milled by the mill in the shop accompanying the mill. Most windmills have four blades but experiments were done with other numbers of blades. This is explained on posters on the site. We spent about an hour looking around and having a coffee.

Popped in for something to eat. Coffee was lovely just had sandwiches but plenty of filling. Would call in again

Love going to the windmill, love the local produce the sell ane the flour and oats that they mill themselves. Was shocked to discover that they are being force to close but the local government, will be a sad loss to the area😕
