An unbelievable collection or items from the last 150 years or so but packed high and deep. Not a place to visit if you're impatient, short of time or claustrophobic but if you're willing to spend the time it's a fascinating place to visit. Prices are a bit on the high side, though. Parking can be a challenge with limited on-street parking for an hour only but longer stay car parks are available within a 10-minute walk.

A good honest man who as told me and my future wife how he came from st Augustins chesterfield with nothing to become a succesful biilder and a hotelier and travelled to get this astounding collection...thanks for telling us so much very very different if we ever holiday again we will call in
