Story

A truly local museum, run entirely by volunteers with a passion for Louth. Quizzes and dressing-up activities for children. 3 galleries full of local interest, from mammoth's teeth to a scale model of the Malt Kiln, and the mezzanine floor devoted to the Louth Flood of 1920.

This is excellent, there is so much interesting stuff in such a tiny building. The team deserve great credit for managing to squeeze so much in let alone the fact that it's all interesting too.

Here since around 1910 I believe. Well worth a visit. They occasionally have free entry days.

A real Aladdin's cave of local and area artefacts with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Take your time to appreciate all that is there.

Folk museum, dedicated team of volunteers who are ready to provide information. I spent roughly an hour and a half there, 2 adults and 2 children £8, I think was value for money. Recommended if your in the area.
