The best roast lamb in manchester. The meat was succulent and lovely. The cauliflower cheese is the best I've had and the chipolata sausages were good too. The best roast in Manchester! Huge portion and great value for money. I'll be back
The mushroom kebab is absolutely great. Really smokey from the cooking and marinated in a really tangy flavoursome sauce. Also the potatoes, squash and green salad can all be made vegan with dairy on the side if you ask Can't wait to go again
Fabulous place! Menu is limited but very very tasty. Great pita bread, fantastic chicken. Loved the drinks. And the Vogue show is really really high level for a restaurant. Recommend 100%
This place is gorgeous. Lots of light and open space. Great place to enjoy a leisurely brunch with mates. The staff is first rate. Courteous and friendly. Definitely a place to visit. You will return.
Really great food. Awesome for sharing. The quality and flavours are top notch. Staff were really nice. They do a good £20 deal, ask for details.
I'll be honest we went to Firehouse bang on 4pm on a Thursday because it was 50% of bottles of wine and were on a mission to find new places to eat/drink in Manchester. The place filled up quickly and had a great vibe. We decided to order some food - what a great decision ! THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING - We had the Fingerling potatoes and a Chicken Breast 0 both were superb my wife keeps banging on about the chicken!! Every dish we saw served to other tables looked amazing and people seemed to react the way we did. All this with half price wine - the Primotivo is a really good full bodied all delivered by some really friendly and efficient service team.
Wasn't expecting much as the menu is small. The pitas are the best I've had. The potatoes topped with cheese are incredible If I wasn't a vegetarian it might have been 6 stars
This one is going to be a tricky one to review. Amazing cocktails and great ambience and really good vibe. As we did a walk-in we were asked to order some drinks and wait at the bar and we will be informed a table can be found. Looked like a perfect place to have a good evening. Thanks to staff we did get a table to sit for drinks only. There’s a catch in the process, if you don’t book a table for food you will not get food served even if you manage to get a table to sit. We were told we can only get drinks since we did a walk-in without booking table for food. Felt a bit weird on this approach. So suggest if you are planning to go, book for food as well and yes they make amazing cocktails. So do enjoy the drinks if you are there for just the drinks. Will have to come back next time with a table booking for food and complete this review. To be continued……
Absolute at @thefirehousemcr! Great for two reasons, the venue and the food! Firstly this venue is super ideallyic for a great backdrop, with low hanging lights and a tall ceiling inside, surrouded by big glass windows, you’re sure to hit that sweet ‘lighting’ spot. + they have a bottomless brunch on Saturdays 12-3, £27pp… ladies in the corner with your limitless Prosecco, we saw you! Food & drink wise, these dishes cost us £44 incl. service. There’s ‘cheaper’ options out there but the chicken was juicy, pitta warm & fresh so for us, it was worth it! If you like your chicken moist sitting in wet and your potato spooky spider webbed in parmesan this is the place to be. The staff are incredible, the food I'm afraid is average at best. While cooked the pricing is grossly over what it should be with Vegan options £9 mushroom 'kebab' really pushing that 'vegan food has to be overpriced irony'. The plates are all unusually small, felt like a bearded Alice in Wonderland on steroids, with all dishes served on dessert sized plates, but at least it looked like a BIG meal. If fair portions are your thing pick the breast over the 1/2 chicken - they are around the same size. Honestly wanted to love this place, probably won't visit again.
