If you’re coming to Athlone or passing through, don’t miss this pub! It was by far my favorite pub in Ireland. It was the first place that felt like a true local feel. The owner, Tracy, along with the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Not only that, but the locals in the bar were so fun to talk to and gave us plenty of recommendations for the rest of our Ireland travel. Don’t miss this little gem! And the Guinness was fantastic!!
Called in for a few pints from Wales was made feel very welcome by the staff after been refused in the pub next door coz we weren't local the Beaumont

This is a local family oriented Irish pub. The staff and owner are so friendly and everyone is welcome once you respectful the house rules. In addition, the quality of the Guniness is one of the best I would say in the world. A gem of a spot.

The Fiddlers is owned and run by Tracey and family. It's a very homely Pub with regular weekend music and a fab Irish atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if in athlone
