Had a lovely dinner. Very big portion sizes in future I will consider the small bite meals. Service efficient and friendly. We have just moved to the area and I have no doubt will become regular visitors. Only downside at the moment cash only payment but not the pub or staff fault. Hopefully can take cards soon. Just remember to take cash for now! Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Came in for a Sunday lunch. Reasonably fast service considering it was busy, and great view of the river from my seat. Very large portions for both the starter and the main course. Menu on Sunday was very limited so be wary if you are a vegetarian. Food was excellent for a pub. Price was slightly above average but worth it to support local business. Would recommend.

Has one of the best views of the Mersey and the Liverpool skyline than any pub on Merseyside. It has been recently refurbished and serves great pub food and real ales. It's situated on the longest promenade in the UK and is great for walkers and cyclists. Just 400m from Seacombe Ferry. Paul McCartney used to drink here as he has cousins that live in the vicinity.

Lovely, friendly staff and food was terrific value for money. I had the "special" fajitas and the portion was enormous. Salad, fries as well as two large tortillas - enough for two really! My mum had the light platter of scampi and homemade chips and for £5.99 it was the size of a normal meal. Lovely and clean too. Would have no hesitation in recommending this pub for great food.
