Fantastic place, really busy and the food? Good lord, the food is to die for! Oh & you can’t forget the open fire, what a delight.
Oh wait we’re talking about “The Ferry Boat”
The place is dead. Looks abandoned from the outside & the staff....well, let’s just say I’ve seen more life in a flattened hedgehog. 
The food is cheap & all you can eat, there’s a reason for that. If I had the choice between what was on offer under the heat lamps, or a dirty used dishcloth.....I’d be wringing that cloth out into my mouth eagerly. 
Think all the positive reviews are either from the staff, or the locals that haven’t ventured further than 200 yards from their home to try somewhere that’s actually decent.

Always very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
The carvery is always brilliant.
We go most Sundays and love it more every time we come

Lovely place to eat good food at a good price friendly staff and what more do you want then on a cold wet day than good food but good food sat next to the open fire fantastic place

Lovely carvery at a fantastic price. 
There's always lots to choose from and the meats are always succulent and juicy. Veg is cooked perfectly and staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
