Overall this was a very good meal, the faaod was excellent, came hot and quickly enough.The service was pleasant but not very knowledgeable or proactive. It took ages to get any attention to get a table, then there was not much help with our gluten free diets, and finally finding someone to pay was a struggle.
By chance we stumbled across the Bishops Bistro. Even though they were busy Sunday 22nd Feb they managed to find the 3 of us a table near the bar. Service was excellent, and the food was to die for! Naturally we had gone for the Sunday Roast and wasn’t disappointed! To top that off was the price wasn’t nearly what I expected to pay!nOverall, I would highly recommend this establishment for nothing more than the Yorkshire puddings which are huge!!!nWill definitely be calling again as our daughter is relocating nearby.nCraig, Steph & Elisha from Burnley
Food and service was great. Slight bugbear was when it came to paying the bill staff were too busy to bring us the bill and the bar was absolutely carnage and couldn't get anywhere near the bar tried 3 times over 20 minutes. Luckily another member of staff got us sorted. Can't drop a star for that because I understand places get busy and would never begrudge a business doing well. Well done guys food was amazing.
Great comfy spot, lovely staff, stunning food and great value for money. Bacon Mac n cheese small plate to die for. Small burger that’s not small unlimited toppings and fries £14 what’s not to like. Will be back even though 30 mins away. Thx
We are soon moving to the area just around the corner in fact so have recently tried food on 3 occasions and not been disappointed in the slightest. Steak night on a wednesday was such good value. The sunday lunch was just what the doctor ordered and the small plates on a lunch time soo good!!! Can't wait to get moved!!!
