So, I reviewed this place previously but felt it right to update my review after revisiting post renovation. Since it’s revamp it seems so much better. Great staff, great service. Food is SO much nicer than we’ve previously had. The pub aesthetics are great. Really cosy. I actually have been recommending the pub to friends. Well done guys!
My husband and I have just had an amazing weekend at the Feathers.Great location, beautifully decorated and rooms very comfortable. Restaurant is very good but the breakfast was absolutely awful with undercooked eggs and bacon. But Reiny the waitress was lovely and apologetic and fantastic at her job and a real asset. Highly recommend this place
We had lunch here, which was very nice. The staff were also very nice. The problem was that the table had been booked for 12.30 and we didn't eat until almost 2 pm!! Not fair to accept bookings when they know they haven't the staff to cope. Honesty would have been a better policy! Taking advantage of customers good will.Service: 1/5
Didn't stay at the hotel but stopped off for brunch - one of the best cooked breakfasts I have tasted for a long time - just yum. Hash browns were cooked to perfection and no sign of grease. The staff were incredibly friendly, would highly recommend.Service: 5/5
The Feathers has recently been refurbished and looked great. We visited for a family function. The food was all fresh, tasty and well presented. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient - especially giving an extra hand and making sure my disabled mother was comfortable and had easy access. I will definitely be going back soon
Often come here with the family for lunch. There's been a change of management recently and the manager is very friendly and accommodating. The food is tasty with a varied selection. Great atmosphere whether there for a meal or a drink. Recommended.
A fantastic meal to catch up with family pre-christmas. Brad was a fabulous host and kept the drinks flowing. Food service was a little slow, but we didn’t mind and it all tasted great. The refurbishment is a great success.
My son booked for Mothers day. Terrible service. Waited around 45 minutes for starters. An hour later no sign of our mains. Other tables had no food either. We complained and we were just told it's Mothers day and we're busy. My son got his deposit back and we went home and got a takeaway. Would not recommend this place at all.Service: 1/5
Very happy with this place. Was staying up the road at the Hanbury Manor and went here for a steak dinner. Plenty enough of a feed to ensure I didn't need pudding and more than reasonably priced for what you get. Staff efficient and pleasant. Couple of pints of Landlord kept very nice I must say.
A very warm welcome. A massive thank to Bradley for his brilliant hosting & interaction skills with seven of us whilst working tirelessly on a full restaurant. A great evening made superb with a little banter.
