Great village pub and tea room. You can pop in for some lovely home made cakes or a good home cooked roast. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff!
Amazing atmosphere, you can tell a lot of care goes into this place and seems like a genuine authentic tea room. The manager Gemma has gone to a lot of trouble sourcing lovely decadent crockery to give a homely feel. Brilliant food, service with a smile, can’t ask for more!

My wife and I had our first visit to the pub last night, we were greeted "like friends" from the owner Gemma upon entering the pub. There are decent beers on tap and Gemma made a point of coming over to chat to us with her lovely daughter. Perfect welcome . We look forward to supporting the pub and cannot wait for a sunday lunch and an afternoon tea soon !
Great local village pub! Always a nice warm welcome, good service and nice drinks on tap! They also cater for Sunday roast and afternoon tea with home made cakes.
A great cosy pub offering food and drinks for everyones taste. From teas and coffees, soft drinks, wines, spirits and of course beer! Homemade cakes, sandwiches, Pizzas, fish and chips, Sunday roasts.... Games mornings, cheese and wine evenings, music events, pop up events..... A log fire, a garden, a dining area, books to read, friendly staff....I particularly love Travis with his good humour and great chat, he is a wonderful welcome as you step through the doorway! Gemma has everything anyone could wish for when looking for a relaxing spot to meet with friends or just sit with a beer or coffee and quietly do the crossword!
Went in yesterday to catch up with friends, great service friendly staff, Travis is brilliant. Enjoyed banter with the locals, a great village pub. An asset to the village and community
Just found this cute little pub in Dane End. luckily we happened to find it on a Tuesday when they run the BooTea tea room,Monday to Wednesday. Half the price of any tea room locally yet high end quality cakes and finger sandwiches. Absolutely delicious! We had so much we had to take some home. They supplied a takeaway box for us. The service was amazing and Gemma and Sam are so friendly. We had the cream tea but you can chose sandwiches or cakes with huge choice of teas, soft drinks or any alcohol beverage you fancy. They also had a lovely little Easter hunt and colouring in for the little ones. I will definitely be going again.
Excellent concept - be a really great tearoom 3 days a week and a pub 3 days a week. Yummy cake and great value tea/cake deal. Congrats!
