Can be busy so best book. Car park at the back can also be busy. Staff are warm and welcoming. Food is great for the price. Not just your typical pub grub either. All in all very good place to eat.

I'm not sure whether or not this place has bitten off more than it can chew, but I will try and give an honest review. We were a party of four who made a reservation for seven o clock. Table wasn't quite ready, but not a problem as we had a drink in a pleasant bar area. The food was OK for a pub style restaurant but the service left a lot to be desired. Twenty minute wait for starter then a forty minute wait until main course. When this was pointed out, waitress informed us that they were 'very busy with a large party of 20 upatairs' As a paying customer that is not our problem . Restaurants should not take bookings if they think they will unable to provide a decent service, that just smacks of greed. The waitresses were courteous and friendly which saves this review from a 2 star.

I booked a meal for my sons birthday. There was 12 of us and 2 small babies. Our table was booked for 6.45pm. It took 1/2 hr to get a drink. 1hr to get our starters, with one starter not even arriving. 4 times we were told that our mains were being plated up. By 9pm we had waited long enough. We had crying babies and a very hungry child, who never got his meal brought out either. We left without our mains and will not be returning again.

Should be 5 stars, steak was amazing, wine was amazing but service was too slow... Took 20 mins between mains being cleared before a dessert order was taken. Would go back though!

Fantastic place for wonderful family time. Great food, excellent service and lovely staff. Well recommended!
