Have just moved into the area and decded to go for Afternoon Tea for my hubby's Birthday. The food was awesome with lots of coffee and tea refills. Had to grab a takeaway box as couldn't eat it all. Excellent value for money and now booked in to try their food in the evening. If it's anything like what we have had already then it will be great
We enjoyed a lovely meal celebrating a house-sale last night.The staff were really helpful and let us stand by the gorgeous fire while we waited for the kitchen to prepare our food. The staff were attentive and we felt really welcome and looked after. All our food was good, though the starter mushroom dish was a bit skant I thought. We enjoyed two cheesecake desserts and the garlic prawn starter was so good we ordered a second one! The bar has a great selection of drinks and especially on-tap ales. And the ambiance in this friendly old farm is second to none, even when there isn't many in. We are very lucky to live one mile from this excellent public house.
Relaxed, friendly atmosphere with decent service. A peaceful pub and beer garden. The food was pretty good if not-particularly-diverse range of pub classics at a reasonable price. Needs a far better beer selection, with a greatly improved craft offering.
Very tasty pub-grub. 3 Courses for £21 Set Menu very reasonable as well and has dishes to suit all tastes. Very attentive service - waitress came by often to enquire how our meals were.nnWe popped in for lunch on a weekday and were one of only 3 tables - which is a bit of shame. Places like these need support if they're to stay open.nnWill definitely return.
Really nice food. Good size portions. We had 3 course set menu £21. Great value for money.nThe best bitter was nice and tasty treat as well.nFriendly efficient staff and service.nLittle gem and not too far from airport. Result.
