Great little farm shop. Fruit a tasty and produce looks great. Definitely worth a stop. Potato price is definitely one of the best around.
What a crock, been passing here 4 40yrs,only used it cause my mum N dad used to stop here when traveling up north.was excited to see the place and when in there u have to stand in a que to wait 4 the toilet.then u get a code, toilets were disgusting,male and female,yes my partner wasn't impressed. Not good when you've been holding it in 4 20miles +.shame cause our family of 8 used to use this place but no more, thanks but you obviously don't need passing trade,stay well away people, rude,untidy dirty. Look at all the other reviews, so many can't be wrong or hold a grudge.
Café is fine if a little dated. Clean and quick service. With not a lot of choice along the A17 this is as good as any. We would stop again.
Farm shop fine for time being, Cafe etc. closed its doors for the last time on Xmas eve!! Up for sale due to well earned retirement!!
Poor quality food and really expensive. Stop here every time we visit Norfolk and the place has gone drastically down hill. Will find somewhere else for the future.
Popped in for a bite to eat .... but oh dear. Two coffees, two sandwiches and one cherry pie with custard. £16.80 ouch .... so not the cheapest. I had cheese and onion which turned out to be cheese and tomato ... and tasteless. Neither coffee actually tasted of coffee. The cherry pie was sad and I was still trying to digest it 5 hours later. Then we get to the "hunt the toilet" activity. What a fun game that is. You'd think at those prices, they would be able to afford proper, decent signage. Not a fun stop.
Been coming here for years but last few visits on way to Norwich Saturday before last was final straw as yet again short staffed so reduced menu ... staff that were on seemed distracted and apathetic
Was always the place to stop when travelling to Norfolk and was always busy anytime of the day but now with the prices of the food, the pass locks on the toilets to stop passers by and the attitudes and inexperience of the staff we will find elsewhere from now on. You can even go to the McDonald's not far away to have a comfort break without having to purchase anything, short sighted management decisions.
This is a good place for a quick stop break.Loads of parking.We have visited this placed several times over a number of years and have noted a lot of improvements.Firstly, the decor has improved but one area still has a large number of outdated pictures on the walls. These do remind you of a bygone age but my personal view would be to remove them. However, the ladies toilets are definitely improved by the redecoration .The facilities are locked, so you have to make a purchase before using with a code on your receipt.This is a really good idea as the facilities are much cleaner and kept in a good state. The cafe is set up to protect you from Covid with tables of four all well spaced out etc . Plenty of space in the aisles etc. It is set up as a help yourself cafe.Collect a tray, select cakes etc and then order drinks and hot meals, rolls etc at the other end . There is an area to collect sugar, sauces etc. The waitress brings your hot meal calling out your number on the receipt. When you finish your refreshments, you can walk directly into the adjoining farm shop.Which sells fresh vegetables etc . This place is good to stop off at for quick refreshments and a break. I love their custard pies/cakes and cannot resist buying one as they are large and delicious. They have a good menu of basic food which serves the customers well.
