Some colleagues and I came here to get the British pub home experience. This is a nice place with an expansive menu. It's a high end gastro pub . The service staff are friendly. It is not quite your typical British pub as I think they adjusted to the local Four Season like hotel. For example, they serve bok choy.
Stopped for lunch, it has a great main menu and also for kids. The food was great, and the whole place was nicely decorated. It's give you a nice relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly and pleasant. It is a bit expensive but highly recommended.
Great food, nice team. Shame about the flashing lights. Started to get really busy whilst we were sat also which was a good atmosphere. We will be back. Thanks to Jamie for looking after us all and making the birthday special
Lovely, welcoming staff and the most delicious food! Nothing is too much trouble …we had a large family gathering here just before Christmas this year and it was wonderful. Do try it! Five stars from us!
First stop of the Crookham Mummers on boxing day. These characters bring hundreds of watchersand punters to all establishments they visit boosting their takings. They do it for charity. Philis Tuckwell hospice. Very worth while. So if you have to wait for your drinks while the mummers get theirs please be patient. One day you may need a hospice! The script is very very old 500 years possibly more. It's also the second oldest mumming group in the country. Mentioned in the Times every year as things to do over Christmas..
A wonderful place located in a very nice town. There are few places in the UK as beautiful as this. Quiet, cozy, warm, where the food is exceptional, with a high level of detail and carefully well made. Absolutely all the staff are kind, friendly and caring. Very good prices, hands down the best restaurant in Fleet, I give it a 10/10.
The Exchequer may not be on the river bank, like the Fox & Hounds, but it makes up for this, in the professionalism, caring staff and the excellent quality of the food. In my experience they hit the mark on every criteria! Myself and my 'four legged Friend' were made most welcome.
Very nice place for a drink or bite to eat. Not far off the basingstoke canal so ideally situated. Plenty of seating indoors and out. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
My brother-in-law, his Wife, I and my Wife recently had a meal at your restaurant. I selected a Fish and Chip meal from your "Gluten Free" menu whilst my brother-in-law selected the same dish but from the normal menu. Despite my assurances from your waiter that my Fish and Chips were gluten free it has come to light it was not so. Shortly after consuming the said meal I had a severe digestive reaction whilst the batter on my brother-in-law's normal Fish and Chips tasted unlike normal batter..It therefore follows that the two meals which were served at the same time by the waiter were clearly crossed mixed. It is fortunate both for me and you that I do not suffer from cealiac disease but am Gluten intolerant.Despite this the effects were most distressing and painful. Thus it therefore follows we shall NOT be attending your restaurant ever again. Your comments are awaited.
Excellent meal today. I had the Goats cheese salad, and Fish pie, both were so yummy. Excellent service and the girls were so lovely and attentive. Highly recommend
