The Exchange is a multi-functional venue with a wide variety of rooms available for hire in the heart of North Dorset, with a main theatre capable of seating 300. Artists who have appeared and who are set to appear at The Exchange include Elkie Brooks, John Williams, StopGoSixty, The Longest Day, Show of Hands, Courtney Pine, The Hamsters and Amy Wadge to name but a few. nCopacabana Magic was an outstanding production from start to finish — an emotional journey that had me crying one minute and smiling the next. Martyn is incredible as Barry Manilow, capturing not only the unmistakable sound but also the heart and emotion of the music.nWith dazzling costumes, energetic dancers and a fabulous live band, the atmosphere was electric. A show that would feel completely at home on a West End stage and finished with a well-deserved standing ovation.nMeeting the cast after the show was a real highlight — such kind, humble and welcoming people. The staff at Sturminster Newton Exchange were equally wonderful: friendly, helpful and a real credit to the venue. Highly recommended.
I have attended at The Exchange recently for a charity event. It was beautifully put together. A night at the Opera. The place was set up so lovely. The staff were really great and welcoming. The facilities were cleaning easily accessible.nI am actually planning on going back for other events in the months to come.

An excellent venue for conferences, meetings and performance. Obviously at the heart of it's community. It was an excellent setting for this year's zDorset COP.
My first trip to The Exchange and their first show since the start of the pandemic. I cannot praise the team running The Exchange highly enough. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, and I really enjoyed the production. I really look forward to my next trip to this great theatre/venue.
