Awful. Just, awful. We wanted to support this newly reopened local business and booked a Mother's Day Sunday lunch. To say it was poor wouldcbe an understatement. The food was cooked from packet frozen veg and potatoes. Completely tasteless. Avoid unless you're desperateFood: 1/5
Delighted that this establishment has re opened. Visited today for lunch. Their pies are advertised as award winning and I can see why. First class food and very friendly and efficient service.Food: 5/5
Called here today with my family from all over UK,food was good,, service was relaxed, and place was sublime...a true pub. If you want a relaxing drink and food.Food: 5/5
This is a classic country pub. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. As a Hall and Woodhouse owned pub, the real ales are great and served in good condition. The staff are just wonderful and make the visit that all more special. The venue is cosy in the winter with numerous fire places to keep you warm.
We sat outside in the garden on Sunday.I ate the Tavern stack which was all home made ,absolutely Delicious. My wife had Home made Vegetable Lasagne which was also Terrific .For pudding I had a piece of Tiffen with cream which was also to die for.All of which was expertly cooked and reasonably priced. The Service is incredible at all times even though they were short staffed at the time. We had no long waiting time as I expected because of the short staff problem. The Bull Tavern is a Family Run pub and other larger concerns could learn a lot from them.Welk Done Bull Tavern .The very next day we tried 1 of their charcuterie boards ,very very good. Also fantastic value for money
Now open as a freehouse. Fantastic little pub with beer garden. Selling a good selection of local ales and ciders. Parking: 5 spaces near to pub, and more spaces across the main road.
An adorable pub in the heart of the beautiful Dorset countryside. Lovely host, fabulous food, great local beer.
And let us not even talk about the service! Small, friendly traditional pub we had not visited for many years. Group of 8 who regularly meet and had one of our best lunches for some time. Great food and ambience. Reasonable prices, nothing was too much trouble. The service was fabulous, great humour, attentive and handled our range of choices superbly. Everyone was ensuring we had an enjoyable time. We did, many thanks. Parking: Easy to find and plenty of parking
Had an excellent Sunday lunch at The Bull Tavern, called in on the off chance, great food, great service and nice oldy worldly php with lots of features.
Marianne and the team are fab, we had several meals on our weeks holiday and the food is freshly cooked to order by husband Lance, all fresh, and delicious. Marianne remembered our names and our dog Dexter was made very welcome with a tasty treat. Would highly recommend, lovely people and the best food. Hope to see you again soon. Kind regards, Julian, Eunice, Dexter and Dylan.
