Excellent play gym! Good quality food VERY friendly staff my daughter has had 2 birthday parties here and also attends the club edge holiday club….. she is already counting down the days till the next school holidays to have fun with girls who work there and her friends she’s made…. Highly recommended
One bad egg seems to be spoiling what could be a great little play gym. Unfortunately she seems to be the owner or manager. We've been a few times because it's within walking distance. If it weren't for that the rudeness of this lady would have stopped us going after our first visit. I certainly wouldn't recommend travelling here with so many other, better staffed play gyms. Our last visit prompted this review. Firstly, what a customer doesn't want to hear when they walk though the door in what is supposed to be a 'fun' place is..."Oh right, we were going to close"... over an hour before closing time! No, "hello, how are you" just make the customer feel unwanted to begin with. My son who is four, took ONE flyer from the counter because he liked the picture and was attempting to read it. He was asked quite rudely to put it back becuase its for people wanting to have a party. 1. Don't put them on the counter if you're only giving them to people who ask. 2. Don't put fun kids images on them if you don't want them to touch. 3. How on earth did she know we were not thinking of having a party? While we were there another couple came, greeted slightly better than we were but when they asked for drinks... "not really, we're closing soon", this was just short of 1 full hour before closing. If this woman isn't the owner she should be sacked straight away. Attempting to turn away customers because she couldn't be bothered or had somewhere better to be. Shortly before we left, this horrible woman said to her colleague "I can't wait any longer, I've got to go" leaving 1 member of staff in the play gym which im fairly certain is against all health and safetly code for running a play gym. The gym itself isn't impressive enough to be able to be THAT rude to people and still get custom. I'm all for keeping things local and saving the planet but this lady has meant we wont be coming back. She's probably glad as she definately didn't want to be there/work.
Had a birthday party here for my 4 year old on 16th June. Faultless. I can highly recommend. Brilliant facilities and the bouncy castle went down a treat. Lovely helpful staff. Great party food and catered for halal/ veg requests. Many thanks!
The website advertised being open until 5:30 "today"... ...we travelled all the way only to be turned away at the door because they were "only open today for private parties"... ...fair enough! But rather than disappoint five year old - tell people!!!
My 7-year-old daughter has just spent 4 days at "club edge holiday club". She has really enjoyed herself and loved all the different activities. We hope to be back to other holiday clubs. We also attended the New year's eve party which she really enjoyed. Staff are really friendly and the food and drinks from the cafe are always really tasty.
We booked The Edge for a joint 4th birthday party at the weekend and it was absolutely brilliant. The venue was spotless, really well organised, the staff were friendly, incredibly polite and really helpful. The food was just right for a birthday party and the party bags were lovely. We'd booked the ultimate package, so had the run of the place with a bouncy castle and disco. I think it was great value. Thanks so much - everyone loved it, it couldn't have gone any better!
Lovely playgym always clean and tidy and the food is just lovely, tried lots of things off the menu now and the food is so much better than any other playgym I’ve been to, lovely big portions too, highly recommend
Fantastic setting for kids and the food is all home made and tasty. A wide selection to choose from. I can recommend the plate salads they are divine!! The play gym is brilliant for little ones as well as bigger ones. There's a separate dance room too!!! Well worth a visit.
After reading mixed reviews on here I Visited for the first time with my 6 & 5 year old. They loved it! Adults do not pay in as previously wrote on here in one of the reviews & the food is all Home made not like most other play gyms, probably the reason the food costs a little more. But definitely worth it! Will definitely be visiting again. A compact clean and friendly play gym!
Plenty of food and drink for everyone. Special menu changes every week.
